Sarah Hess is a freelance photographer based in Seattle, specializing in both B&W and color, film and digital. She has been practicing photography for over 15 years. Sarah is listed as one of FLOOD Magazine's "Fifty Concert Photographers From the Past and Present You Should Know." She has photographed concerts, from small clubs to arenas, and festivals, including SXSW, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience.
Sarah has worked in music journalism since 2013, as a staff photographer and writer for Best New Bands and a contributing photographer for L.A. Record, Paste, and IMPOSE Magazines. She has worked along side Urban Outfitters Music and Geoff Funk Digital for social media campaigns. Sarah has also had her photography featured in The Pursuit of Dopeness, Local Loop, House Show Magazine, Imperfect Fifth, VZN / Portraits of Sound, AMBY (A Music Blog, Yea?), Chicago INNERVIEW, Newcity Magazine, Sailor’s Talk, Front Row Music News, The Photo Ladies, and the Main-Post.
